25 January Reports today out of Rome shortages of gas, diesel, fruits, fish andveggies. Prices high. Getting your rental car back may be awkward. (Last year in Greece tourists had to abandon rental cars on the side of the road) Still, traffic is still in the streets unlike Palermo last week. If you are flying into this mess just make sure you've got your meds. No gas stations opened in Naples today. Florence fruit and vegtable markets empty, petrol impossible to find. Same in Pisa and Livorno.
